Fiji FA was founded in 1938 and became a member of FIFA in 1963. It is affiliated to Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC). Fiji FA has 23 district affiliates in Fiji along with Primary and Secondary schools football. It is estimated that more than 50,000 active players play football in Fiji in various age groups. Fiji FA organizes and develop programmes to prepare age group and National teams for men and women’s to compete in FIFA qualifying Championships within the OFC for Football. The Women’s Football, Futsal/ Beach Soccer Commission are included as part of larger Fiji FA structure responsible for their specific areas of operation.
