Now, the average graduates of this college are approximately two hundred and fifty doctors annually. Since its inception, the college has been striving to raise the scientific level of its medical graduates, despite the difficulties it has gone through. It has adopted the academic curricula of the University of Edinburgh. In 1949, the British Royal College of Physicians recognized this college, which strengthened its active role locally and globally. The college graduated a large number of well-known doctors at the Iraqi and international levels.
